The next step is to have a reading by a licensed human design professional. A reading is also a prerequisite to most classes that are offered. To find a Human Design professional, you can browse our listing of professionals here
It is very important to have accurate time of birth in order to generate a correct chart. If you are not sure you have the exact time contact the hospital where you were born, or the department of vital statistics in the city/state you were born, or try locating your birth certificate. Another possibility is rectification through an experienced Vedic Astrologer, or a licensed human design analyst may be able to assist you as well. Not all Human Design Analysts offer rectification as one of their services, you can contact office@jovianarchive.com for a recommendation.
Please view our Guide to Getting Started on our website here , it lists many possible next steps, including the Living your Design class. If you have further questions, please contact our office at office@jovianarchive.com

Our programs are written for the .NET framework which only works on the Windows environment. Mac users have several choices for having windows run on their computers.

The options available for any recent Mac with Intel processor are these:

1. Apple Computer itself provides a simple and free way (OS X 10.5 required) to install Windows through a software called BootCamp. It uses a partition of the disk and turns the Mac into a regular PC. The disadvantage is that you either start the computer with MacOS or with Windows, but not both. It is most suited for someone who really needs a PC and will use the Mac for occasional tasks. A copy of Microsoft Windows is required. http://www.apple.com/bootcamp

2. Parallels desktop for Mac offers to run Windows inside of the MacOS so that they can coexist and even share files and resources. Most suited for a Mac user with the need for occasional use of a PC. A copy of Microsoft Windows is required. http://www.parallels.com/

3. VMWare Fusion for Mac, just like Parallels, a solution offered by a different vendor. http://www.vmware.com/

4. Virtual Box, a free alternative, community maintained solution. http://www.virtualbox.org/
Classes and Lectures with Ra are taught using an online classroom, this is a virtual space where classes take place; everything happens inside of a window and communication is established between the teacher and the students by means of:

-Speaking: teachers and students have the chance to speak in an ordered way one at a time, and everyone participating will listen through the computer's speaker

-Writing: participants can send public or private instant messages that will be received by everyone or a private user.

-Watching slides and sketches that the teacher performs during class
If you are registered as a student in any of our classes, you will have access to that classroom by following these steps:

-Logging in to your account by pointing an internet browser to this direction: https://secure.jovianarchive.com/pages/login.aspx , email and password must be inserted

-Once logged-in a link will become visible on the top left corner of the page reading: "Your Account", this will take you to the place where you can access all purchased products/courses

- After expanding either the IHDS Courses or IHDS Lectures sections, you can click on the name of the course that you are going to take. There you will find a schedule for the course with a date and time for the next class.

-By visiting this area 20 minutes or less before the class starts, a link to the classroom will be visible. By clicking on the link, the window with the classroom will open. More details on trouble-shooting classroom problems can be found here

Even though all the classes can be downloaded afterwards, the students are free to record it themselves. Once the student is inside a classroom, under the "File" menu there is an item to record presentation. By clicking it, a folder on your desktop will be created with all the necessary files
Once enrolled into any IHDS offering, a classroom will be accessible in the conditions mentioned above. Lectures consist usually of one class only, while Courses will always have more than one class. The schedule for any of them will be available either in the personal account summary (accessible under the 'Your Account' menu) or just posted in the calendar
Every lecture or class from a course will be posted shortly after the end of the class so that it can be downloaded and reproduced the same way it was imparted. Also, in the personal account summary where courses are scheduled you will find links for any past class.
Classrooms are downloaded as zipped files (compressed to take less space). If this file is uncompressed, it will generate a folder with several files inside of it. It is important to note that this folder must be completely uncompressed prior to using it.

Once the folder is obtained, you can find inside of the folder a document called index.htm. If it is double clicked, a browser will launch and play back the class exactly as it was, with the ability to play/pause/skip.

The voices of teacher/students, messages in the chat box, teacher's drawings and slides presented in the class appear the same way as they did in the original class.

Also in this folder there is an mp3 file of the class that can be used in any computer/portable media player, however this option will not include all the features of the above one.
Jovian TV Shows can be played directly in the browser as many times as needed, and purchased shows will stay in the account permanently. The shows cannot be downloaded to your computer, therefore a direct connection to the internet is necessary in order to watch them. To find your purchased shows, please click on Jovian TV, then click on View More, and scroll down to select Your Subscribed Shows.

A broadband connection is recommended (at least 1 Mbps), this will allow it to play smoothly. In case interruptions occur during playback, it is a good solution to pause the playing (using the first button on the left on the picture below), and wait for the player to preload content. In the example below, almost half of the content has been loaded (light blue line over the black background), this means that the video is going to play smoothly. If the current time marker (circle between the orange and the blue line) was too close to the black line, this would mean that the connection is having problems to keep up with the needed income of data. Pausing the player and waiting a while would improve the playback.

The slider to the right controls the volume of the sound, and the last button on the right switches the playback to full screen.
Any Digital Book that you have purchased is stored online in your account in a PDF format file that can be downloaded to your computer for later reading on screen or for printing on paper. To access the digital book, please log in to your account, and click on Digital Books. Click the View More button and scroll down to Your Purchased Books. There you will find the digital book that you ordered. Please note it is necessary to have a PDF Reader installed on your computer. Many operating systems have one already installed. If not it can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com.
