Soundex Matches
If a place name is not valid MMI2 will first attempt to determine whether incorrect spelling is involve and display a soundex match list which are a list of similar sounding locations within the specified country.
If the country itself could not be validated or there are no soundex matches for the location this screen will not appear and the country list will be shown instead.
The example below resulted from inputting pariss, france as a birth place.
The Country List
Here the user is required to select a Country from the list.
To make the search faster the user can start typing the country name in the text box to filter the list.
The City List
Here the user is required to select a City from the list.
To make the search faster the user can start typing the city name in the text box to filter the list.
