The concept of homogenization is based in part on the understanding that others don’t know what’s best for each of us. The process of learning to live our lives authentically as unique individuals involves freeing ourselves of the programming that’s distanced us from our innate Strategy and Authority.

Tribal rules, such as procreation, loyalty, and sharing resources, have dominated our developmental process as a species. With the coming of the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix, the domination of tribal rules is coming to an end. Additionally, such rules contribute to our homogenization and make us more easily controlled by others; so it comes as no surprise that the mainstream culture’s depiction of self-love focuses on the negative — on ego, selfishness, and the inability to share intimacy with others. But self-love is a powerful ally in recognizing the Not-Self, freeing ourselves of homogenization, and forming authentic relationships.
