Each and every one of us, in the various balances that are there within our own Variable configuration, we all have to come to grips and find a balance between those qualities of Left-ness and Right-ness. It’s why my focus in this particular course is to isolate each of these factors and to talk about originality. Because that's my theme, to talk about originality in each of them so that we can surrender to those aspects of our Design, particularly within the Variable sense, that truly are going to allow our originality to flourish.
After all, my comment about the child and homeschooling, it depends on the configuration. If the child happens to be over here where they have this consistent Right mind/Right brain, they shouldn't be in school, and they shouldn’t be homeschooled in any classic sense of the word. And there is no formula that is there, no history that is there to be able to provide a viable alternative other than this knowledge.
Again, it's one of the things that I hope to elaborate on, because if we do not protect these beings, if we do not nourish them the way they were intended to be nourished, they’re the ones who are going to suffer. And all of us are going to suffer as a byproduct, because it just means more originality is being taken out of the world.
Every single one of the Variables that happen to be on the right side here, they all have in common a Right mind. All of those Right-mind beings don't belong in any kind of traditional way in which they're educated. Again, I’m speaking of children, because they're at a terrible disadvantage because they’re being stripped of their originality. They are being stripped of their original mind. And they are being forced, through social pressure and through the dynamics of the way in which the strategic world operates, to give up their originality in order to be banal.
It’s one of the saddest things of all. They’re simply being forced to remember things. Any one of you who has a Right mind knows how brutal that is, to be forced to remember something; it’s just brutal. And everything about the educational process, everything about achievement in the educational process, is about that remembrance.
Now, there is a way, obviously, that the Right being—I know that from my training of people in PHS and Rave Psychology and the examination process—there's a way for Right beings to be able to succeed in those kinds of environments, but it doesn't have to do with the conscious act of remembering. It has to do with being present. Wherever the Rightness is in your particular Designs, it's the quality of your presence here and now in this experience that enriches your life, because this is how you take things in.
