Living Your Design is not about “Well, why should I do that?” or “Why does that work?” If you don't know why you should do it, then you probably shouldn't be here in the first place. If your life is a mess, you go searching for something, anything, but you don't have to know why it works as a goad to thinking it will work.
This is not knowledge telling you to “do as I do”. This is the beginning of learning that you have a potential to be different, to be unique. Most people don’t know what the potential of their uniqueness is, and it's not like you have to spend months and months investigating and studying because the truth is, if you live it, you’ll see it for what it is right away. I'm not opposed to people being educated in Human Design; it's a wonderful thing to teach and to learn, but that’s secondary.
Everything about this knowledge is about being in service of the other; it is for the unique fulfillment of purpose. But there is so much conditioning, and we live in such a dense homogenized plane that you don't get there unless you start the experiment. And if you think that mental gymnastics is going to set you free, it will not. It’ll just be another deep frustration in life, because the mind cannot resolve the mind’s problem. It can’t.
The mind is caught up in its own distorted agenda, rooted in your openness and controlling you through your fears. But you don't have to chase after anything; it's your mind that wants to chase. Most of the planet doesn't have to initiate anything; it's your mind that wants you to initiate. And it doesn't do any good to know all this if you don't live it because when you live it, you see it, you experience it. You can verify the value, it's your experiment after all. Your experiment takes this knowledge and makes it unique.
